Roger Tynes is the Global Ergonomics Systems and Special Project Manager at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. He is an experienced ergonomics consultant with a demonstrated history in the automotive industry. Roger has been at Goodyear for the past 15 years and has over 40 years of experience helping companies succeed in EHS. Roger has assisted individuals, teams, and organizations to be more effective at recognizing and addressing musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) risks by designing and facilitating ergonomics initiatives, conducting training programs, and consulting on processes and systems.
Roger’s adeptness in data analytics and trend analysis has helped Goodyear tremendously over the years to understand, focus, and dramatically reduce musculoskeletal disorder injuries on a global scale. He has conducted ergonomics training throughout the US, Europe, Canada, South America, Asia and Africa. Under Roger’s guidance, Goodyear has experienced a 60% reduction in MSD injuries and associated costs.
