Mr. Paul Ahnberg, P.E. is a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager with 30+ years' experience in EHS risk reduction and performance in the food and beverage, mining, and minerals processing industries. Mr. Ahnberg combines his deep EHS experience and technical skillset with a broad-spectrum knowledge base of industrial supply chain operations to align and drive sustainable EHS improvement and change across a diverse array of organizational environments. In his current PepsiCo EHS Center of Excellence role, Mr. Ahnberg has overall leadership and accountability for three high-profile EHS risk reduction and performance programs: Ammonia Risk Management, Emergency Preparedness & Response, and Wastewater Management. Mr. Ahnberg's role deliverables include the identification, introduction, and full-scale sustained implementation of systems and technologies designed to support and accelerate continuous EHS risk reduction across PBNA's supply chain network. In 2020 and continuing since then, Mr. Ahnberg co-led the design, testing and cultural assimilation of PBNA's Mobile Application for Emergency Preparedness. With over 1,700 downloads and nearly 6,500 user sessions, the application is altering the way PBNA develops and maintains integrated contingency plans (ICP) across North America and is rapidly replacing the 30+ year standard of paper-based ICP's.
